We on the Gulf Coast, including Houston and Galveston suffered major damage from Hurricane Ike. This was a powerful storm that tapped all of our resources. CSI put its emergency plan in place and we were able to keep the call center up and running until about 4:00 P.M. on Friday, September 12, 2008. At this time the safety of our staff was of major importance. All staff was released and allowed to seek shelter with their family. Thank goodness all left the area. Ike struck us a mighty blow. Within hours after the "All Clear" was issued we were back up and running.
I want to thank Gracie for all of her efforts and dedication. She was the last to leave and the first to return. Amy arrived at 8:00 P.M. and went to work. Raquel showed up when she was released and her family secure.
I also want to thank our clients for their understanding of this major event. Please watch any news report and you will see how devistating this event was.
Again, Thanks for all the prayers. If you would like to help in the recovery of this area, please make all donation to the Red Cross, Hurricane Releif Effort. Many folks lost everything and all lost something. We here are in excellent shape.
